The Disciples of Tone have existed for three years. There are three of them (this lends itself to lazy comparisons to The Jam - although there is perhaps an element of truth in this) however, they have also been compared to Joy Division, Gang of Four and The Fall. Elements of Rockabilly, Psychedelia and Punk/Post Punk are thrown into the cauldron. The Disciples of Tone neither sound or look like your average indie rock type band.
